The United States Mint will release the first American Women Quarter Program Quarter for 2024 later today. The latest release, the eleventh in the four-year series, honors Reverend Dr. Pauli Murray. According to Mint’s website, sales will begin promptly at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific time. The Quarter will be available in bags and rolls, with limited quantities available on the roll products.
Reverend Dr. Pauli Murray was a poet, writer, activist, lawyer, and priest. To this day, Murray is regarded as one of the twentieth century’s most important social justice advocates.
Four products will be available from the Mint for the Dr. Murray Quarter:
- 100-Coin Bag (Philadelphia) – $45.00
- 100-Coin Bag (Denver) – $45.00
- 2-Roll 40-Coin Per Roll Set (Philadelphia & Denver) – $40.00
- 3-Roll 40-Coin Per Roll Set (Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco) – $60.00
Note that on the 3-roll set, the San Francisco roll contains uncirculated circulation-quality coins, not proofs.
Production and household limits are in place for the purchase of these products from the Mint. It is expected they will be quick sellouts. The Mint does offer a subscription program for the American Women Quarter program, which is the quickest and surest way you will get the products you want for your collection.
