The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, April 7, 2024. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. The Mint reported net sales of just over 58,000 products in this week’s report. This is up from last week’s report, largely in part to the release of the latest American Innovation Dollar honoring Alabama.
Indeed, of the top ten selling products, the top four were released within the last two weeks by the United States Mint. Topping sales was the 2024 American Women Quarter Silver Proof Set, with 33,792 sets sold in its first week of availability. This was followed by all four of the Alabama American Innovation Dollar products. The 25-Coin roll from Philadelphia was the second top seller, while the same roll from Denver was closely behind in third. The two 100-coin bag products for the Alabama Dollar rounding out the top five selling products, with the bag from Philadelphia just edging out the product from Denver.
The only non-2023 product that made into the top ten in sales was the 2023-S Morgan Proof Dollar. It continued to have a trickle of sales this week, coming in as the seventh top seller overall.
The United States Mint’s sales figures are public records and are available weekly. They start from the previous Sunday through to the next seven days. You can find the report each week at this link.
