The Gateway to a World of Numismatic Education, Available April 29

Over the last year, the American Numismatic Association’s (ANA) education department has been revising and creating learning opportunities for ANA members. These exclusive member benefits can be accessed on the first day of the ANA eLearning Academy launch, April 29 (money.org/education).
Whether a novice enthusiast eager to learn the basics or a seasoned collector seeking advanced insights, the eLearning Academy is the go-to resource for numismatic education.

“This member-only resource is designed to reflect the School of Athens,” says ANA Education Director Christian Strayhorn. “Built on the idea that great minds would convene at the ancient academy to share, debate, and preserve thought, the eLearning Academy will serve as a place where numismatic concepts are shared among our community.”

Here’s what to expect from the eLearning Academy:

  • Aristotle’s Vault, an online video series designed to provide highlights of courses offered at Summer Seminar (the ANA’s annual numismatic educational event. Learn more at money.org/summer-seminar.) Courses included at launch are Advanced U.S. Coin Grading and Problem Coins, with more on the way.
  • NumismaTalks and eLearning Archive – with access to a variety of webinars and videos
  • Learning continuum for students grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
  • Updated Numismatic Diploma Program, including the first course, Introduction to Numismatics, available online (and at a discounted price for those who have already completed the course).

Sign up to receive access to the Academy when it goes live by filling out the registration form on the ANA website at money.org/education. For questions or more information, reach out to the ANA’s education department at education@money.org or (719) 482-9845.
