The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, May 26, 2024. The report covers the Mint’s numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. The Mint reported net sales of 13,166 numismatic products in the last week.
The top ten selling products were an eclectic mixture of items, some of which were released five years after their initial release. Interestingly, the top-selling product for the week was the 2022-W American Eagle Silver Uncirculated coin, with 2,899 coins sold. Perhaps more interesting was the high number of silver proof sets sold in the last week. The 2019, 2021, and 2022 Silver Proof Sets all featured in the top ten, along with the 2021 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set. Only three of the top ten selling products were released this year.
