The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, June 30, 2024. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different from the weekly numismatic product report. This week’s report shows that the Mint reported sales of 913,500 bullion coins, the bulk of which were the one-ounce American Eagle silver coin. Of the seven bullion products available, five reported sales this week.
The top-selling bullion product last week was the silver, one-ounce American Eagle. The Mint reported 850,000 of the coins were sold last week, putting total sales over the 14-million-coin mark for 2024 (14.250m). This was followed by the 1/10th-ounce gold American Eagle with 35,000 coins sold, while the one-ounce gold American Eagle was the third top seller with 12,500 coins reported sold.
As a reminder to collectors, new and old, United States Mint bullion coins are sold to Authorized Purchasers and cannot be directly purchased from the Mint itself.
