The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, July 7, 2024. The report covers the Mint’s numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. The Mint reported net sales of 18,718 numismatic products in the last week.
For the second consecutive week, the 2024 Silver Proof Set was the top seller for the Mint last week. An additional 4,911 sets were reported sold, putting total sales at 148,676. By comparison, the 2023 Silver Proof Set currently has total sales of 193,680 sets after nearly a year of availability. Indeed, the 2023 premium silver set was the tenth top seller last week, according to the Mint’s report.
The standard 2024 Proof Set was the second top seller, just behind the silver proof set, with 4,144 sets sold last week. Meanwhile, the third top seller was the 2024-W American Eagle Silver Proof. The mint reported that 3,551 of the one-ounce silver coins were sold last week.
