Today’s Deal is a great opportunity to add to your NGC-graded Washington Quarters collection. Today, you can pick up a stunning 1956 Washington Quarter that has been graded by NGC as PF-67. This beautiful specimen is priced at $35.99 and includes free shipping. While the cost of the coin is higher than the book value of a raw 1956 Washington Quarter, when you consider it is already graded by NGC, and at a higher-than-normal grade, it makes it a great value.

The 1956 Washington Quarter is from the era when the coins were made of 90% silver. This changed in 1965, when the silver was removed and the Quarter – along with the Dime and Half Dollar – became predominantly copper-based coins. Equally, only 669,384 were minted in Philadelphia in 1956. That was higher than the years before and after, but few have been graded at PF-67. NGC reports that only 4,072 ’56 Quarters have been graded at PF-67, and no coin they have graded is higher than PF-67.
