United States Mint Bullion Sales Report – September 22, 2024

The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, September 22, 2024. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different from the weekly numismatic product report. This week’s report shows that the Mint reported sales of 839,000 bullion coins. It should be noted that this is the first report from the Mint on bullion sales since September 8. The Mint’s report shows that six of the seven bullion products were sold in the last week.

Overall, bullion sales are down 25% from last year. Additionally, the American Eagle Platinum one-ounce bullion coin has not been minted this year.

As a reminder to collectors, new and old, United States Mint bullion coins are sold to Authorized Purchasers and cannot be directly purchased from the Mint itself. The United States Mint updates its bullion sales report daily at 5:00 PM Eastern. USCoinNews publishes a weekly summary of the previous week each Monday if sales were reported in the previous week.
