The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, November 10, 2024. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different from the weekly numismatic product report. This week’s report shows that the Mint reported sales of 2,141,500 bullion coins. The Mint’s report shows that six of the seven bullion products were sold in the last week.
As is usually the case, the one-ounce silver American Eagle was the top-selling bullion product for the Mint last week. According to the Mint’s report, 1.97 million coins were sold to Authorized Purchasers last week. That puts total sales of the silver Eagle at 22.86 million for the year. The report shows that all the gold American Eagle products had reported sales last week, led by the 1/10-ounce gold Eagle with 130,000 coins sold. The one-ounce platinum Eagle was the only American Eagle bullion product that showed no reported sales. So far, no platinum Eagles have been reported sold by the Mint in 2024.
