The Central States Numismatic Society (CSNS) has announced its cancellation of its 2020 convention. The event, scheduled for April 22-25, 2020 is being called off due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. It is the latest Numismatic-centric event to be cancelled. United States Mint Closes Public Tours and Gift Shops in Response to COVID-19

Like many businesses across the country, the United States Mint is taking measure to slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. The Whitman Coin & Collectibles Expo scheduled for this coming week has been cancelled. The expo was scheduled to take place March 19-21 at the Baltimore Convention Center but due to a Maryland State of Emergency limited large crowds, all bourse (exchange) activities have been cancelled. CCAC Meeting Moved to Teleconference Only in Wake of Coronavirus

Last week it was announced that the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee, or CCAC, would be holding their meeting at the United States Mint offices in Washington, D.C..
