For those who will be attending the famed Long Beach Expo in a few weeks time, Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, or NGC, will be there to accept your coin submissions for grading. As they are doing this weekend at the Whitman Summer Expo, NGC will be accepting coins at the Long Beach Expo from Thursday, June 6 through 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
The Long Beach Expo is being held at the Long Beach Convention Center through those same dates. NGC notes that the cut-off time on Saturday may vary depending on how many coins are submitted to them at the event. In all cases, coins will be shipped to the grading company’s Sarasota, Florida locations for grading and returned to owners via normal shipping service options.
NGC notes that all grading services will be available with a few exceptions.
Due to the special handling required, NGC does not accept submissions of the following coins at this show for regular service submissions to be returned to the NGC offices: Coins for First/Early Releases designations, coins NGC requires submitted in original Mint sealed packing, coins over 3.5” (90 millimeters) in diameter and .39” (10 millimeters) in depth, Coin & Chronicles sets, Coin & Currency sets, American Liberty four-medal set, March of Dimes three-coin set, West Point two-coin set, San Francisco two-coin Proof set, 30th Anniversary Eagles, 25th Anniversary Eagles, 20th Anniversary Eagles, American Liberty Series, and 10th Anniversary Platinum Sets. These submissions must be sent directly to Sarasota, FL, by the submitter.
*Does not include 5-ounce coins
