The United States Mint has published its weekly sales report for the week ending September 27, 2020. Unsurprisingly, the slew of new products introduced last week by the Mint were on the top ten selling products list while annual sets continued their strong showing that has been the case for most of 2020.
The top selling product last week was the 2020-W American Eagle Palladium Uncirculated 1-Ounce coin. 9,971 of the 10,000 of these bullion coins were sold last week. Indeed, if there is any surprise, it is the fact that the Mint still shows the remaining 29 coins available at the time of this article.
Coming in as the second top selling product was the 2020 Proof Set. This annual set saw a strong sales week with 9,347 of the sets sold. That pushed its total sales for the year to 362,843. In third position was another new product: The Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller America the Beautiful 3-Roll Set. 6,332 of these roll sets were sold in just a few days of availability. Indeed, of the top ten selling products for the Mint last week, the latest ATB Quarter took five of the top 10 sales.
