The first Numismatic product from the United States Mint for 2021 is set to go on sale next week. The 2021 Birth Set, featuring all five of the circulating coins for the United States, is set to go on sale on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. As usual, sales will begin that day at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific.
The 2021 Birth set features a Proof finish of the circulating coinage of the United States in a unique folder that allows for a child’s birth date and birth vital statistics to be recorded on it. The set will contain:
- Kennedy half dollar
- Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Quarter
- Roosevelt dime
- Jefferson nickel
- Lincoln penny
As is usually the case with the annual Birth Set, there is no mintage, production or household limit on the number that can be purchased. Collectors will also recognize that this is the first opportunity to pick up the last of the America the Beautiful Quarters, the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Quarter, in a Proof finish.
At the time of this post, the Mint has not released the pricing for the set. That likely will happen the day before or day of its release. To get more details and to use the Mint’s “Remind Me” feature to get notified when sales start, head to this link on the Mint’s site.
