Early in January, the public was given a glimpse of the upcoming 2021 Native American Dollar Reverse design thanks the United States Mint releasing the line art for it. Now the Mint has released the official images of the coin, giving the first look of what the 2021 coin will look like in detail.
The 2021 Native American Dollar, as well as the coin for 2022, will commemorate the military contributions of Native Americans to the armed forces of the United States. The design will feature two Eagle feathers along with five stars, representing the five branches of the military in the United States: Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard.
For collectors, the wait for this new Native American Dollar will not be long. Rolls, Bags, and Boxes of the 2021 coin will go on sale February 16, 2020 at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. Because the Native American Dollar is considered a circulating coin, there will be no production limits or household limits on purchases when the coin becomes available. Rolls of the coin will contain 25 coins, bags will contain 100 coins, while boxes will contain 250 coins. Each product will be available with mint marks from the Denver and Philadelphia Mint facilities.
