The United States Mint has released its weekly numismatic product sales report for the week ending June 20, 2021. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. The report shows that the Mint sold an impressive 29,432 products in the past week. In looking at this week’s report, nine of the top ten selling products for the week were released this year.
Unsurprisingly, the Mint’s latest release dominated sales for the week, taking four of the top five sales positions. The American Innovation Dollar honoring New Hampshire took the top sales spot as well as the second, fourth, and fifth spots. The top seller was the 25-Coin Roll of the new Dollar from Philadelphia with 6,506 rolls sold. This was followed by the same roll from Denver with 5,550. The 100-Coin bags also sold well this week, with 2,548 bags from Denver being sold and 2,319 from Philadelphia.
Nestled in third on the top ten selling products list for the week was the 2021 Proof Set. The standard set added another 4,411 sets to its sales total which now sits at 306,496 for the year. Meanwhile, the 2021 Silver Proof Set also made it once more into the top ten list, finishing this week as the sixth best seller. 1,843 of the premium sets were sold last week, putting its total sales for the year at 207,515.
