The United States Mint has updated its weekly numismatic product sales report for the seven-day period ending Sunday, September 4, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. This week, the Mint reported total numismatic product sales of 28,425 products, a slight increase from the previous week’s report.
For the year, the United States Mint has now sold 10,933,027 numismatic products to collectors.
For the second consecutive week, all of the top ten selling products for the United States Mint last week were 2022 releases. The top ten was lead by the latest American Innovation Dollar release honoring Tennessee. The top seller was the 25-Coin roll from Philadelphia for the Dollar coin, with 5,837 rolls sold. It was followed in second by the same roll, but from the Denver Mint, with 4,953 rolls sold. Closing out the top three was the 2022 Proof Set which continued its strong sales for the year with another 4,112 sets sold last week. For the year, the Mint reports that 323,758 standard Proof Sets have now been sold.
The fourth top seller was the 2022 American Liberty Silver Medal. 3,242 of the one-ounce medals were sold according to the Mint’s report, with a total sales now over 50,000 (53,134). Rounding out the top five was the 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set with 1,982 sets sold in the week.
