The United States Mint has updated its weekly sales report for the seven days ending Sunday, October 30, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. This week’s report shows that the Mint had reported sales of 64,980 numismatic products. The United States Mint has sold 11,169,716 numismatic products to collectors for the year. In this week’s report, the top ten selling products were all 2022 releases from the Mint.
Taking the top sales position, unsurprisingly, was the newest release from the United States Mint, the 2022 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set. According to the Mint’s report, 30,345 of the available 50,000 sets were sold in its first week of availability. In a distant second was another new release from the Mint, the 3-Roll set of Anna May Wong American Women Quarter. All available sets were sold out last week, something the Mint had indicated would be the case earlier this year. Rounding out the top three was the 2022 Proof set with 6,133 sets sold in the past week.
The fourth top seller for the Mint last week was the 2-Roll set of Anna May Wong American Women Quarter, which also completely sold out of stock. Finishing out the top five was the 2022 Silver Proof set. The premium proof set added another 2,618 sets to its sales total, which now stands at 210,899.
