United States Mint Numismatic Product Sales Report – December 18, 2022

The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven-day period ending Sunday, December 18, 2022. The report covers numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets, by the Mint. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to this week’s report, the Mint sold 13,293 numismatic products to investors and collectors in the past week. 

As has been the case the past several week, annual products from the United States Mint dominated sales for the past week. Of the top ten selling products in the Mint’s report, seven of them are annual sets from this year or last. Taking the top sales honor was the 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set with 3,232 sets sold. The premium 2022 Silver Proof set was close behind in second with 2,506 sets sold, while the 2022 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set was third with 795 sets sold. Interestingly, on the Limited Edition Silver Proof Set, nearly 12,000 remain available on the Mint’s site.
