The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven-day period ending Sunday, January 1, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets, by the Mint. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to this week’s report, the Mint sold 10,264 numismatic products to investors and collectors in the past week.
Breaking down the top ten selling products for the Mint last week finds that 2022 annual products continued to sell well for the Mint. That said, the top seller last week was the silver uncirculated 2022-W American Eagle. The one-ounce silver coin had reported sales of 1,760 coins, narrowly topping the 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set which had sales of 1,444 sets. The third top seller last week was the 2022 Silver Proof Set.
Another American Eagle, the 2022-S silver proof was the fourth best seller (1,142) while the 2022 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set rounded out to top five selling products with 594 sets sold. That set remains on sale on the Mint’s site with nearly 11,000 still available for purchase.
