The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, June 18, 2023. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The Mint reported 771,500 bullion coin sales in the past week, with reported sales across all products available for purchase by Authorized Purchasers.
Unsurprisingly, the top-selling bullion product for the United States Mint last week was the one-ounce silver American Eagle. The Mint reported 725,000 of the coins were sold to Authorized Purchasers, accounting for 94% of all bullion coin sales last week. For the year, the Mint has now sold 8.967 million silver Eagles.
All of the gold American Eagle coins and the one-ounce platinum Eagle had reported sales last week, with the two highest sellers being the one-ounce gold Eagle and the 1/10th-ounce gold Eagle.
Turning to the one-ounce American Buffalo gold coin, the Mint reported 7,000 of the coins were sold last week, putting total sales for the year at 266,500.
