The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, September 10, 2023. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The Mint reported 972,500 bullion coin sales in the past week, with reported sales across four of the seven products available for purchase by Authorized Purchasers.
As is usually the case, the one-ounce silver American Eagle was the top bullion seller last week for the United States Mint. According to the report, 899,000 coins were sold to Authorized Purchasers last week. That puts total sales for the year at 15,656,000 coins. That is well ahead of the sales total through September 2022.
