The United States Mint will begin selling its penultimate product for this year, the 2023 Uncirculated Coin Set next week. Sales will begin at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific on the Mint’s website. Sales kick-off will be on December 5th, with a production limit of just 185,000 sets. The sets are priced at $29.00 each, and while there is a production limit, there is no household limit on the number of sets you can purchase.
The United States Mint does offer an Enrollment Program for the Uncirculated Coin Set, which will assure that you receive your set prior to sales opening to the general public. It also gives you the added benefit of free shipping on the set when it is released. To get more details, follow this link to the program’s enrollment page.
The 2023 Uncirculated set will contain an impressive 20 coins, 10 from the Denver Mint and ten from the Philadelphia Mint. This will include the five American Women Quarter Program releases set for this year. The sets will come in two placards, one from each Mint facility, with a flip cover to allow for easy viewing of both the Obverse and Reverse of each coin.
