The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, December 3, 2023. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The Mint reported 969,000 coin sales in the past week, with reported sales across six of the seven products available for purchase by Authorized Purchasers. Only the platinum American Eagle did not have any report sales.
The silver one-ounce American Eagle was the top seller, selling 939,000 coins. That puts total sales for the year at just over 24 million coins. All of the gold American Eagle products had reported sales, with the American Buffalo also having a small number of sales last week.
