The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, April 28, 2024. The report covers the Mint’s numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. The Mint reported net sales of 34,789 numismatic products in the last week.
Taking the top sales position, accounting for 71% of the Mint’s net sales for the week, was the 2024 Kennedy Half Dollar 2-Roll Set. The set had reported sales of 25,572 sets, easily making it the top seller. It was followed distantly by the other Kennedy Half Dollar product for this year, the 200-coin bag. That product had reported sales of 6,841 bags. Both Kennedy Half Dollar products were released last week, and this report reflects their initial sales after availability. Rounding out the top three was the 2024 Proof Set, which added 3,208 sets to its total sales for the year. That total now stands at 201,661 sets.
