The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales report for the seven days ending Sunday, August 4, 2024. The report covers the Mint’s numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. The Mint reported net sales of 36,231 numismatic products in the last week. Six of the top ten selling products last week were releases from this year.
The strong sales reported for the week ending August 4, 2024, were bolstered by the Mint’s latest release, the 2024 American Innovation Dollar Proof Set. The annual set had reported sales of 49,414 in its first week of availability. It was the clear top seller, with the 2018 American Liberty Gold 1/10th-ounce coin coming in a distant second with 3,648 sales. Rounding out the top three was the 2024 Proof Set, with an additional 2,352 sets reported sold last week. That puts its total sales at just shy of a quarter of a million (248,755).
