Last week, President Biden signed into law H.R. 1842, the Harriett Tubman Commemorative Coin Act. The Act is now known as Public Law 117-163 and you can read the full text of the law here. H.R. 1842 – Harriett Tubman Commemorative Coin Act has now passed both the House of Representatives and the United States Senate. It is now eligible for signature by President Biden and could become law as soon as this week. The bill, which the House passed by unanimous voice vote, mirrors the Senate’s version of the bill, S.697. That bill passed the United States Senate back in February.
