The Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) over the weekend reported three separate missing or stolen packages containing coins. Two of the three packages contained PCGS graded coins while the third had a raw coin apparently stolen after the parcel arrived having been ripped open. The Numismatic Crime Information Center and the Portland, Oregon Police Department are asking for any information the public may have on an armed robbery that took place on August 25, 2020. The theft happened at Affordable Jewelry and Precious Metals located in East Portland. The theft left the store’s manager severely injured and dozens of coins being stolen.
