After the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) meeting yesterday in Washington, D.C., we now get our first look at the proposed Obverses and Reverses of the commemorative coins. The $5 gold coins, silver dollars and clad half dollars will be made in recognition of the 60th anniversary of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. As a result of their meeting today, the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) has released the proposed images for the upcoming Steve Gleason Congressional Gold Medal. These recommended proposals were released along side the Anwar El Sadat images that CCAC also is considering.
