The Delaware American Innovation Dollar, the first coin in the series for 2019, is set to be released by the United States Mint on Thursday, September 19, 2019. It will be available in 25-coin rolls and 100-coin bags on release day.
Sharing the common Obverse of the American Innovation Dollar coins, the Delaware coin will feature Delaware born Annie Jump Cannon in silhouette with a start field taking the remainder of the Reverse.
For those that don’t recall, the Obverse of the coin will feature the Statue of Liberty.
On September 19th at Noon Eastern, collectors will be able to buy one of four products the Mint will initially offer. All of these will be sold in Uncirculated condition
- 2019-P 25-Coin Roll: $32.95
- 2019-D 25-Coin Roll: $32.95
- 2019-P 100-Coin Bag: $111.95

All of the products can be found at this page on the Mint’s site. From there, you can use the pull-down menu to select the particular product you want from the list. The good news is that there is no production limit nor is there a household limit on these items.
The Delaware coin is the first of four that will be released in the American Innovation series in 2019. Later this year we will see coins representing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Georgia. In all, there will be 57 coins in all for the series, each one representing each state in the union and U.S. Territories.
