The new American Innovation Proof Set was a clear winner amongst collectors according to the latest United States Mint sales report. The report dated October 13, 2019, shows that the four-coin dollar set sold an impressive 43,995 units in its first week of availability. While questions remain of the overall viability of dollar coins in the United States, from a collectors perspective it seems clear there is a level of excitement about them.

Another new product took second place in the sales ranking report for this week. The new 2019 America the Beautiful Quarter circulating set sold 14,113 units in its first week of availability. The 10-coin set of Quarters from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints has no production limit and is readily available from the Mint’s site for just $8.95
The rest of the top five in sales were the annual sets from the Mint for this year. The 2019 Proof Set added 9,680 units to its sales total for 2019. That means that 440,190 of the sets have been sold overall. Next was the 2019 Silver Proof Set which had 5,156 units in sales for the week followed by the 2019 Uncirculated Set. That set sold 4,349 units during the last week.
