Mail Bag – Where Did You Go?

When it comes to Mail Bag questions I get here on the site, I tend to sit on them a few days or even a few weeks before posting them. But in the case of today’s question, it literally came in yesterday and it reminded me that I have a bit of explaining to do.

The question came from Tabby who asks….

Hi,

I have been following the site for a while now and noticed that your posts are fewer and fewer these past few weeks. What’s up? Are you going to keep it going?

Thanks,

Tabby

So first things first Tabby, the answer is yes. I plan on keeping USCoinNews.com up and going. Sure things change and I can’t promise forever but the plan is not to stop any time soon.

The reason you have seen so few posts in the last two months really comes down to two key factors: Work and Home.

As most readers can guess, USCoinNews.com is not my full time job. I manage it and post as time allows which, the past couple of months, have been few and far between. My company is doing exceptionally well and having landed a few big accounts, time to answer Mail Bag questions or do any general posting has been tough.

The second factor was moving house earlier this month. For readers who know, moving house is a huge pain and a completely time suck.

To put this all into perspective, I posted on Twitter last night that I was working on my collection. That was the first time I’ve even touched my collection in 6 weeks.

So there you go Tabby, that’s why you’ve seen so few posts over the course of the last 6-8 weeks. The good news is that things are finally starting to settle down a bit and the posting should be far more consistent going forward – at least that’s the plan!

In closing, I would like to say thanks to everyone. Tabby’s mail to me was not the only one I received asking what was up or if I was okay. Thanks. I was honestly surprised by this reaction because I never really know if people are truly reading the site or have any deep level of interest. Clearly some of you do and that is humbling. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
