Mint Sales Report – Limited Silver Proof Set Dominates

The United States Mint has released its weekly sales report for the 7-day period ending October 20, 2019. As expected, the new Limited Silver Proof Set has dominated proceedings. The 2019 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set sold a stunning 29,691 units in its first week of availability, easily topping the sales report for the week. The $149.95 set, which can be found here on the Mint’s site, sold 59% of its available production in just the first week and likely will approach a sellout by the time the October 27th report is released.

Following the Limited Silver Proof Set was the normal 2019 Proof Set. Another 9,123 of those sets were sold in the last week, bringing the total sales to 449,313. That sales average still brings it below the 2018 set by this point in the year but still shows a strong showing for the set.

Third this week was the 2019 American Innovation Dollar Proof Set. Last week’s top seller added an additional 5,965 sets to its sales total, which is now just shy of 50,000 (49,960). The 2019 Silver Proof Set was close behind with 4,914 sets sold in the past week while the 2019 Uncirculated set rounded out the Top 5 sellers. 4,062 Uncirculated sets were sold last week, bringing that’s product total to 274,110 units sold.

Here then is the complete Top 10 sellers for the Mint for the week ending October 20, 2019.
