The latest United States Mint sales report is out for the week ending October 27, 2019. While the 2019 Proof Set took top sales honors for the week, the report showed a great week of sales for products related to the American Innovation Dollars.
Indeed of the top ten selling products for the week, American Innovation Dollars took five positions, although the top ranked product was fourth in sales. Take the “podium” of sales were the annual sets from the Mint. The 2019 Proof Set was the big winner, selling 10,602 sets in the past week. That pushes its sales total to 459,915 for the year. A distant second was the 2019 Silver Proof Set. 5,199 of those sets were sold in the week, bringing its total to 328,789 for the year. In third was the 2019 Uncirculated Set. It had 4,780 units in sales for the week and is now approaching 280,000 sets sold for 2019.
In fourth and fifth place this week we find the newest American Innovation Dollar products making their debut. The 25-Coin Roll from the Philadelphia Mint for the Pennsylvania American Innovation Dollar was forth with 4,144 rolls sold last week. It was closely followed by the same 25-Coin roll from the Denver Mint at 4,133 rolls sold. In rough numbers, these totals are about 600 rolls higher than when the first American Innovation Dollar rolls for Delaware appeared in the Mint’s sales report.
The new Dollar coin sales continued with the Proof Set introduced just last week was in 7th position in sales (2,443 sold) with the 100-Coin bags for the Pennsylvania Dollar coming in 8th and 9th positions.
