The American Numismatic Society (ANS) has released episode 4 of their new podcast, The Planchet. Episode 4 is titled A Brief History of Women Coin Collectors and it looks back at five key women collectors throughout the 15th to the 20th centuries.
The fourth episode of The Planchet features guest Mary Lannin talking about five notable women coin collectors from the 15th to the 20th centuries, and the state of the field in 2020: Isabella d’Este, Comtesse Martine de Béhague, Olga H. Knoepke, Elisabeth Washburn King, and Emery May Norweb.
The Planchet
This episode is about 40 minutes long. Currently, the ANS produces an up-to one-hour long podcast each month. There will also be occasional special episodes focused on ANS news and information.
