United States Mint Sales Report – March 14, 2021

The United States Mint has updated its weekly sales report for the week ending March 14, 2021. For the week, the Mint sold 41,757 numismatic related products, all but one of these being a 2021 product. As expected, the American Eagle gold proof coins, which were released last week, dominated the top ten selling items list, having all five of the products make it into the top list.

The top selling product for the Mint last week was the 2021 American Eagle gold proof four-coin set. 8,085 of the 8,200 sets available were sold last week. This was followed closely by the 1/10th ounce gold proof which saw sales of 7,953 coins. The production limit of the 1/10th ounce coin was set at 8,000 and as of this post, both the four-coin set and 10th ounce coin show as being unavailable.

Continuing its strong sales start is the 2021 Proof Set which was the Mint’s third top seller last week. An additional 6,782 sets were sold, brining total sales up to 197,549. Meanwhile, the American Eagle gold proof one ounce coin was the fourth best seller in is debut. 4,475 of the coins were sold. Rounding out the top five selling products as the 1/25th ounce American Eagle gold proof with 2,675 coins sold.
