The United States Mint has updated its weekly bullion sales report for the week ending Sunday, July 10, 2022. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. According to this week’s report, the United States Mint sold 58,500 bullion coins in the past week to Authorized Purchasers. This is down from the 1.5 million coins the Mint reported sold in last week’s report – but that has to be taken in context. Last week’s report was the fist one in nearly a month from the Mint and included many updates to the May and June 2022 sales totals.
Of the seven different bullion coins offered by the United States Mint to Authorized Purchasers, only the one-ounce silver American Eagle did not have any reported sales. All of the other American Eagle gold and platinum coins as well as the one-ounce American Buffalo gold coin had good sales in the past week.
Here is a breakdown of sales for this past week.
