United States Mint Numismatic Product Sales Report – April 30, 2023

The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending April 30, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to this week’s report, The Mint sold 21,891 numismatic products in the past week, with the top ten selling products primarily being 2023 releases.

Taking the top sales position last week was the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Silver Medal. The 12,849 medals reported sold are all from pre-orders and subscribers who automatically receive each medal in the series. Those were fulfilled late last week, before April 30th, while the public did not have access to purchase until yesterday. The second top seller was the 2023-W American Eagle Silver Proof. The Mint reported that 5,785 of the one-ounce silver-proof Eagles were sold in the past week, adding to an already impressive early sales total for the popular coin. Rounding out the top three was the 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set, with 1,056 reported sold by the Mint.

Here is a breakdown of last week’s top ten-selling products for the United States Mint.
