United States Mint Numismatic Product Sales Report – January 7, 2024

The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, January 7, 2024. This is the first sales report for 2024. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. Unsurprisingly, the report shows that the Harriet Tubman commemorative products, which were released last week, all had strong sales numbers in their first week of availability. In total, the Mint reported sales of 75,536 products in the first week of the new year.

Interestingly, Mint’s top seller last week was a product that has yet to be officially released. The 2024-W American Eagle silver proof coin had reported sales of 21,247. This figure comes from the sales to those who are enrolled in the Mint’s subscription program for this release. Release to the general public will be next week.
