NGC Remains Open and Accepting Coin Grading Submissions

NGC and PMG are currently the only coin and paper currency grading service that is accepting submissions. In an email to members on April 3, 2020, the company made it clear that they were “open and fully operational” despite COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Stay at Home orders in Florida, where the company is based. ANACS Suspends Operations Due to COVID-19

ANACS, the oldest coin grading company in the United States, has suspended all grading operations due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The Colorado-based company announced on their site that they have ceased operations to comply with state orders around non-essential businesses being closed. The news comes after PCGS also announced suspension of coin grading activities due to similar orders in the state of California. Only NGC, based in Florida, is currently accepting coins for grading. PCGS California Office Closed Due to COVID-19

Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) has announced that their California offices in Orange County have been closed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The closure means that there are currently no coins being graded at the offices and collectors are encouraged not to send any coins in for grading at this time. NGC to Accept Submissions at Whitman Baltimore Spring Expo

NGC has announced that they will be onsite for the upcoming Whitman Baltimore Spring Expo to accept submissions for grading. The event is being held March 19-21, 2020 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The grading company will be accepting regular submissions at all service levels with a few exceptions, notably for five-ounce silver coins.
