The sale of the Basketball Hall of Fame commemorative coins has been delayed until April 9, 2020 as a result of the NCAA cancelling the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments. The United States Mint has released its February 2020 Mint Production Report, showing that just over one billion coins was produced for circulation in the month. In total, 1.094 billion coins were made in the month at the Denver and Philadelphia Mint locations. 608 million Lincoln Cent were produced across both facilities in February, each producing 304 million each. Last week it was announced that the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee, or CCAC, would be holding their meeting at the United States Mint offices in Washington, D.C..
