Sales of the 2020 American Eagle gold proofs have started off strong. The United States Mint reported that some 14,925 of the gold proofs were sold in the first 24 hours of availability. That number includes all denominations of the coins. Mint Production Report – 1 Billion Coins Produced in February 2020

The United States Mint has released its February 2020 Mint Production Report, showing that just over one billion coins was produced for circulation in the month. In total, 1.094 billion coins were made in the month at the Denver and Philadelphia Mint locations. 608 million Lincoln Cent were produced across both facilities in February, each producing 304 million each.
