The United States Mint will begin sales of the United States Coast Guard one-ounce silver medal on its site starting at Noon Eastern on September 26th. The medal is the second medal honoring the United States Military branches to be released this year. The medal honoring the Air Force was released earlier this year. The United States Mint has updated its weekly sales report for the seven day period ending Sunday, September 18, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. The United States Mint has released its Circulating Coin Production Report for August 2022, showing that across the nation’s Mint facilities that 1.01 billion coins were produced for circulation. This is down slightly from the production for the Mint in July 2022. Except for the Lincoln Cent, all circulating coinage production was down month-over-month. The United States Mint has released the official, high-resolution images of the upcoming 2022 American Eagle Palladium Reverse Proof coin. The coin, minted out of 99.95% palladium, will be available on September 29, 2022, directly from the United States Mint.
