The United States Mint will open sales of its latest military medal, honoring the United States Air Force, starting next week. Sales of the one-ounce silver medal will begin at Noon Eastern on August 16 on the Mint’s site. The medal is priced at $65.00 with no production or household limits in place. The United States Mint has updated its weekly bullion sales report for the week ending Sunday, August 7, 2022. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. For the second year in succession, the United States Mint has confirmed that it has produced 2022 Kennedy Half Dollar coins for circulation. The news came early in July when Mint spokesman confirmed that the Federal Reserve had placed an order for 5.2 million circulation quality Kennedy’s.
