The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) has released candidate images for the 2022 National Purple Heart Hall of Honor commemorative coins. The law authorizing the coins was passed late last year. In detail, the law states that no more than 50,000 of the $5 gold coins will be produced.
