The break-in occurred last Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Stuppler & Company in Woodland Hills, California. Good news this morning from the Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC). Several coins that were reported stolen back in June 2020 from Greenwood Village, Colorado have been recovered. NCIC Reports Theft of Rare 1871 Seated Liberty Dollar

The Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) has reported the theft of a rare 1871 Seated Liberty Dollar that is PCGS grade PF-65+. The coin, valued at well over $4000 thanks to its high grade and CAC designation, was apparently taking by a “porch pirate”.
