The Planchet, the official podcast from the American Numismatic Society, has a new episode available to members and non-members alike. The latest episode is a short, 11-minute podcast providing updates on what is going on and upcoming with the society.
The American Numismatic Society publishes occasional short updates on ANS news and events. In this second mini-episode, learn about the upcoming Long Table on the Hellenistic Royal Coinages online resource, the Money Talks lecture by Ray Williams, the new issue of the Journal of Early American Numismatics, and more.

Along with these highlights, the ANS announced that staff have returned to the New York headquarters office but it remains closed to visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, for the over 40 new members since the beginning of the year, welcome packets are finally on their way. Unsurprisingly, these have been delayed – in some cases by several months – due to the offices being shutdown because of the pandemic.
