The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, June 4, 2023. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The Mint reported 822,700 bullion coin sales in the past week, with reported sales across all products available for purchase by Authorized Purchasers.
The top-selling bullion coin seller for the United States Mint was the one-ounce silver American Eagle. The Mint reported 693,000 of the coins sold last week, pushing total sales for 2023 to 8.242 million. All American Eagle gold bullion coins had reported sales, as did the American Eagle platinum one-ounce bullion coin. Meanwhile, the one-ounce American Buffalo saw sales of 8,500 coins in the last week.
For the year, the Mint has now sold 9.626 million bullion coins to authorized purchasers.
