The United States Mint will begin sales of the Franklin Pierce Presidential silver medal next week. Sales will begin at normal time of Noon Eastern on October 3, 2022 on the Mint’s site. The medal honors the fourteenth President of the United States and is the final release in the series for 2022. The medal will be priced at $65.00. The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, September 25, 2022. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The United States Mint has updated its weekly sales report for the seven day period ending Sunday, September 18, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. The United States Mint has released its Circulating Coin Production Report for August 2022, showing that across the nation’s Mint facilities that 1.01 billion coins were produced for circulation. This is down slightly from the production for the Mint in July 2022. Except for the Lincoln Cent, all circulating coinage production was down month-over-month.
