Mint Set to Raise Prices of Silver Numismatic Products

In an email sent to customers, the United States Mint announced that it will be increasing prices of silver numismatic products. The increases are effective July 9, 2024. The increase will impact all numismatic silver products except commemorative coin program products. The increase in prices on silver numismatic products is due to the rising spot price of silver, along with “other costs”. The Mint did not specify what was meant by “other costs”, but likely …

The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, June 30, 2024. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different from the weekly numismatic product report. This week’s report shows that the Mint reported sales of 913,500 bullion coins, the bulk of which were the one-ounce American Eagle silver coin. The United States Mint has published high-resolution images of the upcoming 2024 Morgan Dollar and 2024 Peace Dollar. The images show that, as expected, the coin’s Obverses and Reverses remain unchanged.
