George H.W. & Barbara Bush Presidential Dollar Coin and First Spouse Medal Set Sales Start December 21

The penultimate product from the United States Mint for 2020 is set to go on sale Monday, December 21st. The George H.W. & Barbara Bush Presidential Dollar Coin and First Spouse Medal Set will go on sale starting at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific on the Mint’s site.

The two coin sell will be priced at $25.00 with a production limit of 10,000 sets. There is no household limit on the number that can be purchased.

This new set continues the series of Presidential $1 Coins and bronze medals issued from 2007 to 2016 by honoring George H.W. Bush and First Spouse Barbara Bush. This unique product includes an uncirculated George H.W. Bush Presidential $1 Coin and a Barbara Bush Bronze Medal bearing a likeness of the First Spouse Gold Coin. The coin and medal are protected in a durable plastic card enhanced with beautiful representations of the President and Mrs. Bush, with issuance information on the back.

The Presidential Dollar that is included in this set is minted in Philadelphia and comes in an Uncirculated finish. Meanwhile, the 1 5/16th inch bronze medal is identical to the First Spouse gold coin that was released earlier this year to honor First Lady Bush.
