In an unannounced change to the production schedule, the United States Mint is set to begin sales of the 2022 Purple Heart Hall of Honor Commemoratives. The commemoratives had originally been slated for release in January but were postponed to a “TBD” date before the beginning of 2022. The Mint has now set the sales date as February 24th starting at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. The only exception to this release is the colorized …

The United States Mint will begin sales of the first American Innovation Dollar for 2022 starting next week. The new American Innovation Dollar honors Rhode Island, specifically naval architect Nathanael Herreshoff’s Reliance yacht. The coin, in the form of bags and rolls, will be on sale starting at Noon Eastern on February 23rd. From 2019 through to 2032, four new coins in the series will be release each year. The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) has released the candidate images for the 2023 American Liberty High Relief 24-karat gold coin and silver medal.
